About the game

You play Arjun Devraj, an off-world soldier who arrives on the colony planet Carcosa looking for someone and finds the settlement in ruins. The world shifts with every eclipse, so the layout, enemies and rewards change between attempts, but unlike a pure roguelike your progress is permanent. Weapons, suit upgrades and abilities you earn stay with you, and the game is designed so that each run makes you stronger rather than sending you back to zero. Combat is built around dodging dense patterns of enemy fire while returning it with a growing arsenal, and a shield system rewards well-timed blocks. Bosses are large and multi-phased. On PS5 the game uses the DualSense controller for weapon feel, loads in seconds and pairs its dark, alien visuals with 3D audio that helps you track threats around you.
