Description
Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS5 takes the PS4 original and rebuilds it for the newer console. Everything that made the game special is intact, from the momentum-based web-swinging to the original story, and the PS5 hardware makes the city sharper, smoother and faster to load.
About the game
Peter Parker has been Spider-Man for eight years, and the story opens with him finally taking down Wilson Fisk, only for Mister Negative and a new wave of villains to fill the gap. Swinging uses real anchor points and rewards well-timed dives and releases, while combat blends melee, gadgets and stealth with dodges cued by Spider-Sense. On PS5 you can choose a fidelity mode with ray-traced reflections in glass and water or a performance mode that holds 60 frames per second, and there is a mode that combines both at a slightly lower resolution. The DualSense controller adds resistance to the triggers when you fire webs and subtle vibration as you land on rooftops. Loading takes seconds, and 3D audio makes the city feel alive around you. The three chapters of The City That Never Sleeps expansion are included.
