Description
The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PS5 upgrades the acclaimed sequel for the newer console and adds a substantial set of extras. The story of Ellie’s pursuit of justice through Seattle is unchanged and remains one of the most powerful in games.
About the game
Five years after the first game, a brutal act shatters the peace of Jackson and sends Ellie to Seattle, where the story unfolds from more than one perspective and deliberately challenges your loyalties. Gameplay combines stealth, scavenging, crafting and tense combat against smart human enemies and dangerous infected. On PS5 the remaster offers native 4K in fidelity mode, 60 fps in performance mode, near-instant loading, DualSense haptics for weapons and 3D audio. No Return is the biggest addition: a roguelike survival mode where you pick a character, fight through randomised encounters, unlock upgrades and try to reach a final boss. Lost Levels lets you play three early-development sequences cut from the final game, with commentary from the team, and the main story has an optional director’s commentary track. A guitar free-play mode and speedrun timer round out the package.
