Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PS5 is the complete edition of the samurai open-world adventure, upgraded for the newer console. It contains the full original game, the Iki Island expansion and the online Legends mode, with technical improvements that make the island feel even more alive.

About the game

You play Jin Sakai, a samurai fighting to free Tsushima from the Mongol invasion of 1274. Honour alone cannot win this war, so Jin learns the ways of the Ghost, striking from rooftops and tall grass as well as facing enemies head-on. The island is guided by the wind rather than a cluttered map, and its forests, fields and shrines are among the most striking on PlayStation. On PS5 the game runs at a smooth 60 frames per second with sharper resolution, loads in a few seconds and uses the DualSense controller so you feel the draw of the bow and the clash of blades. Japanese lip sync and 3D audio complete the experience. The Iki Island chapter adds a new region and a personal story about Jin’s past, while Legends offers co-op missions and raids.
