About the game
You play Sam, a porter crossing a shattered America to reconnect isolated cities to a shared network. Most of your time is spent carrying cargo over mountains, rivers and rough ground while managing balance and stamina, avoiding invisible creatures called BTs and steering clear of bandit camps. The Director’s Cut adds a cargo catapult that launches packages across valleys, a support skeleton that keeps you stable on difficult terrain and a buddy robot that follows you with extra cargo. There are new story missions, a firing range for practising weapons and a racing track for a change of pace. On PS5 loading is almost instant, the frame rate is higher and the DualSense controller lets you feel the ground and the weight of your load.
