Sackboy: A Big Adventure on PS4 takes the LittleBigPlanet mascot into a full 3D platformer. The villain Vex has kidnapped Sackboy’s friends to build a machine that spreads chaos, and you travel across the whimsical world of Craftworld to stop him, one inventive level at a time.
About the game
Levels are built like handmade dioramas from wool, cardboard, buttons and household objects, and each one introduces a fresh idea, from bouncing on trampolines to riding conveyor belts or swinging with a grappling hook. Sackboy can jump, roll, slap, grab and float, and the controls are simple enough for young children while the harder levels and time trials will keep experienced players busy. Musical levels choreograph the action to well-known pop songs and are a highlight. The game supports co-op for up to four players on one console, with drop-in and drop-out play, and some levels are designed specifically for two or more people working together. Online play was added in an update. Collectibles unlock hundreds of costumes and emotes, and Knitted Knight trials offer tough obstacle courses for the ambitious.
