Description

Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 is an open-world action adventure set on a Japanese island in 1274, when the Mongol army lands and crushes the samurai sent to stop it. You play Jin Sakai, one of the survivors, and spend the game reclaiming Tsushima village by village.

About the game

Jin begins as a traditional samurai who faces enemies head-on, but the invaders do not fight by his rules. Over time he learns to strike from rooftops, use smoke bombs and poison darts and attack at night, becoming the figure the Mongols call the Ghost. The island is one of the most beautiful places on PS4, with fields of pampas grass, red maple forests and quiet shrines, and the game replaces map clutter with a guiding wind that blows towards your goal. Sword combat uses four stances, each effective against a different enemy type, and standoffs let you end a fight with a single perfectly timed cut. Side tales for allies, hot springs, haiku spots and fox dens fill the map with reasons to explore.
