Days Gone on PS4 is an open-world survival game set in the forests and mountains of Oregon, two years after an outbreak turned most of the population into fast, feral creatures known as Freakers. You play Deacon St. John, a former biker who travels the region on his motorcycle, taking jobs from survivor camps and looking for answers about his missing wife.

The bike is the heart of the game. It is your transport, your escape route and your responsibility. It needs fuel, repairs and upgrades, and leaving it in the wrong place can turn a simple trip into a disaster. The world changes with the weather and the time of day. Freakers are weaker in sunlight and far more dangerous at night, so deciding when to travel is a real choice. Each survivor camp has its own leader and its own attitude towards you, and building trust with them unlocks better gear.
